Hello, world, today I am drawing a horse, I am not good at drawing horses because I suck at their body proportions, so I decided to just do the head, and the funny thing is, is that even though I only did the head I still messed up the proportions!!!Can you spot it, it's the the muzzle I made it too small, but it doesn't look that bad.Does it? Next time I do this drawing I am going to use a white piece of paper instead of grey, because I ended up not using any white. well on the paper, I normally only use gray paper so I can draw white lines, which I didn't, so their is no point in using a grey piece of paper.
I started by sketching really lightly, well not really lightly, but I would of sketched lightly if I wasn't going to take a picture of it. Because if I sketched really lightly you guys wouldn't be able to see anything. So I sketched it not really lightly, and tried to reduce as many lines as possible. Or I would have to erase a lot of stuff.
Next I erased most of the lines, then took a reddish, brownish pencil crayon and colored in almost everything. I accidentally colored on some of the whites lines so I simply took a white pencil crayon and drew over it. A this point it started to form the general shape.
Now I simply took a jet black pencil crayon and drew lots of lines flowing in the same general direction.
I then took my silver and colored on the string looking things , then added some black on that and drew a black shadow. After that I took black and dark red and did a whole bunch of shading on, well, every were. Now t was time to color the eyes, and I had no idea what horse eyes looked like so I just drew black, simply just black. After I colored the lower part of the muzzle with grey and black. And lastly I took a white pencil crayon and highlighted everything. After that I was done, and it didn't look that bad. But next time like I said, I am going to defiantly make the muzzle bigger.
